Installation Position
It is installed on the diesel fuel supply line, upstream of the engine fuel injection pump and fuel fine filter. It serves as the primary fuel pre-filter, mounted between the fuel tank and engine.
Function
- Remove solid contaminants such as rust, sand and particles from diesel fuel.
- Separate free water out of diesel to avoid water damage to injectors and high-pressure fuel pumps.
- Protect the engine fuel system and extend the service life of downstream fuel filters and injection components.
- Equipped with a drain valve at the bottom for periodic draining of accumulated water.
