2. Installation Position
Installed at the front end of engine crankshaft, between crankshaft nose and engine front cover/timing gear chamber, located at the front power output side of the engine.
3. Main Functions
- Prevent engine lubricating oil inside the crankcase from leaking out through the gap between crankshaft and front cover.
- Block external dust, sediment, rainwater and impurities from entering the engine interior.
- Maintain stable internal oil pressure of the engine, ensure normal lubrication system operation.
- Reduce crankshaft running wear, protect timing components and front-end engine parts.
- Isolate internal engine high-temperature oil mist to avoid environmental pollution and part corrosion.
