Installation Position
The TC5363 turbocharger is mounted directly on the engine exhaust manifold.
- Turbine inlet connects to exhaust manifold, receiving high-temperature exhaust gas from engine cylinders.
- Compressor inlet connects to air cleaner; compressor outlet connects to intercooler and then engine intake manifold.
- Oil supply pipe connects to engine main oil gallery; oil return pipe connects back to engine oil pan.
Function
- Recovers waste energy from engine exhaust gas to drive the compressor.
- Compresses ambient air and delivers denser air charge into engine cylinders.
- Raises engine intake air mass, improves combustion efficiency.
- Increases engine power and torque output without enlarging engine displacement.
